I took the day off today hoping to get into the doctor, since I'm starting my third week with The Ass today. They said they couldn't get me in till Wedensday, the jerks, so I had Heidi ask her doctor what was wrong with me when she went for a checkup today. I don't have emphysema or anything, just a really shitty cold. So that's good.
The house is in much better shape now, which makes us feel really good. There's 8 bags of laundry sitting in the corner of the bedroom, but aside from that, it's really nice to be able to walk around without having to step over junk. Hopefully we'll be able to keep it this way, 'cause once school starts for Heidi, there won't be time for big cleaning orgies.
Evan's been asleep most of the day. I should probably take advantage of that by going to sleep myself, but there's lots of little things I can putz with here that Heidi would really appreciate, so I'll probably take a shower and do that instead.Current Mood:  bored Current Music: open window noise |

So. The advantage of having this never-ending cold is that at around 8:30 every night, my voice starts doinng this nifty Barry White/Leonard Cohen thing.
